Chief Ramona Horseman has been Chief of Horse Lake FIrst Nation since October 2017. She wants her community to prosper and become self-sufficient. She wants Horse Lake to pursue economic development opportunities, including becoming a leader in oil and gas development and forestry sectors. Traditional values, including promoting the languages and culture, are all priorities, as well as education and training. Finally, Ramona wants to advance people’s health, education and training. Her Life skills and Oilfield experience have prepared her for the position of President of HOCC.
