Alberta’s economic prosperity is currently tied to the resource and energy sector along with a burgeoning technology sector, which employs a large portion of STEM professionals in Canada. With a current push for technological change in all STEM sectors in Alberta, diversity is needed now more than ever. This panel will speak to the current situation, projected trends and ways to share resources with your local business owners on how to engage and attract women into STEM fields whether that is as a new startup venture or career path.
